Google My Business adds menus to listings

Google My Business keeps getting better and better. Of course, that means that there is yet another spot for local businesses to manage and maintain.

You can now add menus to your business listings – from Google’s announcement:

There are two kinds of menus:

  • A menu for an eating and drinking establishment (like restaurants or cocktail bars) that lists the complete set of food and drink items that are available at the business.

  • A menu for a service business like a barber, spa, or car repair shop that lists the complete set of services that are available at the business.

So far, this feature is easily available through the Google My Business API but rumour has it that it is already rolling out to individual businesses via the Card Interface. For those of you who want to learn more about getting the help you need to manage your local business listings online, click here and find your listings.

This is great news for all of our restaurant and service clients who can offer a menu of products or services!
