Local Search Solutions

Local search is important. And it’s crowded. And there are tons of people who are going to offer you tons of options.

Joining the fray is an “oldie” – Network Solutions.

Leading Web solutions provider Network Solutions announces the launch of a new Local Search Visibility service, which provides the first step towards getting found online and driving leads to local businesses. On-demand reporting will be included with the local directory submission service to provide business owners with information about how well they are doing online.

The Network Solutions’ Local Search Visibility offering includes local directory submission to more than 130 directories, including Google® Maps submission, YellowPages.com submission, Yahoo® Local submission, MSN® Local submission, and submission to Superpages.com. In addition, the company’s website will be submitted to major search engines, including Google, Yahoo!, and MSN.

One of the most important aspects of the local directory submission service is the business profile that will appear in local directories and Network Solutions’ own ThinkLocal.com, featuring a business description, list of products and offerings, keywords, payment options, and hours of operation. This business profile can be easily updated.

“For local businesses seeking to establish and grow an online presence, local directory submission is an essential step,” said Matt Ho, Director of Marketing Services at Network Solutions. “Our Local Search Visibility service simplifies the process for local business owners or Web professionals who are looking to attract customers through online search.”

For a set-up fee of $19.95 and a recurring monthly payment of $39.95, clients receive all of the above and more. The process begins with a simple one page local directory submission form, whereby clients are able to provide optimal keyword suggestions based on knowledge from Network Solutions’ own local search optimization technology. Clients receive comprehensive, on-demand reporting including business profile ranking in top search engines and local directories.

“It is an easy way to extend your presence on the Web beyond just your website, since a listing in local directories contains important information about a business that is sure to get attention of potential customers,” Ho added. “Furthermore, business listings offer a link back to your company’s website, which makes it easier for search engines like Google and Yahoo to find it.”

Quite the price tag, if you ask us.
